When Jesus was tempted and tried by the devil, His answer was to speak the truth of God's Word. We are to do the same
Trusting in God
Dear Lord God,
I thank You for Your word to me that You have planted me like a tree that "stands strong in the midst of a storm" and I will not fear or be anxious but in "whatever I do , I prosper" [Psalm 1:3]
I love You O Lord, my strength. You, Lord, are my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer. My God, my Rock, in whom I take refuge.
I call upon You, Lord, who is worthy to be praised and I am saved from my enemies. [Psalm 18:1-3] You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my Glory and the One who lifts my head. [Psalm3:3} I have set you Lord continually before me. Because You are at my right hand, I will not be shaken. [Psalm 16:8].
I trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and I will not lean on my own understanding. I will acknowledge You in all my ways and You will make my paths straight. [Prov 3;5-6] For Your thoughts and ways are higher than mine. [Isiaiah 55:8] I will trust in You forever and You will keep me in perfect peace. [Isaiah 26:3] You are my God. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. Make Your face to shine upon me and let me not be put to shame.[Psalm 31: 14-16] You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies and surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life. [Psalm 23:5-6] You surround me with Your favor as with a shield. [Psalm 5:12]
You, Lord, are the portion of my inheritance and my cup. You support my lot [Psalm 16;5] You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.[Phil.4:19] I declare that "it is You who is giving me power to make wealth, confirming Your covenant with me."[Deut 8:18]
You promise that I will always have all sufficiency in everything, that I might have abundance for every good deed. And You will supply and multiply my seed for sowing. [2 Cor 9:8,10]
I will not fear for You are with me. You will strengthen me, help me and uphold me with Your righteous right hand. [Isaiah 41:4] As I dwell in Your shelter, You will deliver me and set me securely on high and no evil will befall me. [Psalm 91]. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
